Dutch Design - Day 10 - First Interviews "What kind of relationship do we have with our objects?"

Today was an amazing day. It was our first interview day and it was pretty nerve-wracking but we had two amazing interviews with Cynthia Hathaway in the morning at the Gerrit Rietveld Acadmie in the Zuid district.
Her interview digged deep on contextual study and her work in Ghana on the "Landscape Experience Machine" project was great inspiration for understanding how design is rooted in understanding people. Her supermarket project was odd in approach, but also led to enlightening facts about revealing unpredictable human behaviour.

Our second interview was with Scholten Baijings, with both Stefan Scholten and Carole Baijings. Both of them were really awesome and really genuinely nice people. After filming the interview, they offered us drinks and pastries.

Honestly, these were an awesome pair of interviews to start off with and if it's like this for all our interviews, it would be amazingly incredible.

-Scholten+Baijings are really nice people and their designs are so fun!
